Jenny Hettne – YTOR, BÖLJANDE

for solo percussion (world premiere)

The fundament of the piece is a sound object; a small loudspeaker playing sounds from a decontructed music box. This music remains more or less static, while the percussion part illuminates the music box music in different ways. The four short parts each enhances different aspects of the music box sounds, such as pitch, rhythm and timbre.
